Description
Elcaro is a new project, having as goal to be a real good Oracle Development tool for GNU/Linux developers !
We have choose to work with the GLPv3 licence !
So Elcaro will be another Free Open Source Software (FOSS) ! =)
Here is a list of things used to build the project :
- written in C++, to be very Light and Fast
- bazaar as VCS
- OCCI from Oracle as Oracle Driver
- GTKmm Framework
- Glade as RAD (Rapid Application Development)
- libxml++ for configurations files
- Boost Framework to manage threads and regex
- AutoTools to make the project compilable on a lot of platforms / portable
- CppUnit as Unit Test Framework
- Hudson as Continuous Integration server

We are 2 developers, currently, who want to work together on a Free and Open Source project !
My friend Dirk, also known as estiedi, had work with C++ there are some years ago, and now he is a Java developer.
For my part, I'm a C++ developer since 2 years now.
